It is more than a small miracle that he’s entertaining how to solve her completely solvable problem. Just tell Alice that you live with a man. One you are not sleeping with. Which she might actually hate more than if you were, seeing as it points to all her fears of you dying alone.
That’s when she gets a positively bonkers idea.

Summary
Neutrality was fine, desired even. But, Jughead Jones could never just be neutral towards Betty Cooper. Instead, he seemed to take pleasure in pushing her buttons, annoying her, and riling her up -- always deliberately.
It’s infuriating. Also, they were both chosen this year as Head Boy and Head Girl, respectively. This means that they would be spending an inordinate amount of time together and they would be living together in the same area.
It's Betty Cooper's final year and all she wants to do is concentrate on academics, be the best Head Girl she can, and get a job at the Department of Mysteries. Things are never quiet at Hogwarts though.

Betty has every reason to move on and leave him behind but instead she breaks all the rules that have kept her safe for months and takes a blind leap of faith hoping that he will catch her.
Jughead has kept his head down since high school. He has a darkness in his heart that makes him keep everyone at arm's length. To date, Jughead has never shown a romantic interest in anyone and he likes it that way. Until a beautiful blonde moves into town and Jughead can’t stop thinking about how lonely he has been all these years. Can she be his beacon of light in his dark dark past? Or will her own dark past be too much for the two of them?

Everyone is born with a blank puzzle piece on the inside of their wrist. We are given clues as to who our mate is even from the very beginning, marks appear on the opposite wrist from your mate. When holding hands, marks should touch, it’s just one of the many indications that this person was made specifically for you, down to a science. When we are young and making friends for the first time, we tend to be drawn to people with marks on the opposite wrist, it’s a reflex. As we grow older, mark placement means very little when making friends.
The age varies at which a person’s first image appears inside their puzzle piece. It coincides with when a person first enters into puberty. For girls, the day they get their first period is when they get their first image. For boys it’s a little trickier, it seems to coincide with their first voice crack. Our first image is a watercolor of our soulmate’s color aesthetic.

Jughead rounds the corner of the building cautiously, unsure what the muffled scrabbling noise is or what he’s about to walk into. He needn’t have worried because the sight that greets him is more amusing than worrisome; a pair of very toned legs clad in black leggings are flailing spectacularly to wedge through the open window that their owner’s torso has already cleared. They’re sporting a pair of familiar spotless pink shoes that Jughead knows from lit class.
He clears his throat. “Uh, Betty? You okay over there?”
The legs stiffen and then an embarrassed voice responds. “I got locked out of the dorm.”
