Summary
It's been seven years since the Murder Drones arrived on Copper 9. The Worker Drone population has only survived thanks to underground bunkers that have since become sprawling communities. Uzi Doorman doesn't consider that living, though. How can everyone be content with surrendering their home? Since losing her mother to those monsters, striking back has been at the forefront of her mind. But no one else seems to believe in her dream of a Copper 9 free of Murder Drones.
Whether anyone believes in her or not, Uzi is determined to see her vision through and sets out on a perilous journey that brings her face to face with the boogeymen of Copper 9 and forces greater than she ever could have imagined.

Everyone over the age of eighteen was assigned a number, and they instituted a lottery. The worker whose number had been drawn was to be sent out to the ferrovores’ lair as an offering, like a metal and silicone sacrificial lamb. The hope had been this practice would placate and pacify the creatures plaguing the bunker, and minimize the death the ferrovores brought down by way of curbing their bloodlust before it grew to proportions only sated by a massacre, as it had so often done. The brutal thing is that it had worked. There hadn’t been a killing spree in years, and all it cost was a single life every time the lunar phases reached their darkest."

I guess there were some people even New York couldn't handle.
Bill Cipher was undoubtedly one of those people.It is the year 1922, and Dipper and Mabel Pines are moving to New York to stay with their Great Uncles. Dipper is excited to finally be back to the city - full of mystery and danger. The big Apple is the perfect place to find just the right amount of adventure.
That is, it would be if it didn't happen to be the domain of a certain mob boss who attracts trouble like a moth to a burning building.
Bill Cipher. Mass murder, psychopath, and deadliest person in the city.
And through various circumstances he also happens to be Dipper's employer.
One wrong move could lead to Dipper, and his family's death. But what happens when, against all odds, Dipper begins to fall for Bill?
Let's just say, it probably won't be pleasant for either party.

It was at the beginning of summer 1732 however, that Captain Pines overheard the Tent of Telepathy's deck cadet rant about lost treasure in Mindscape Bay. The boy talked and talked and honestly, Pines had long since tuned him out – lost treasure, yeah right! But when he heard the word 'siren' being spoken, he immediately perked up. When pressed, the boy, a snot-nosed little brat in Stan's humble opinion, started to wax a grand tale about beautiful mermaids, gold beyond imagination and close calls with death. The Captain promptly told him to shut up. He walked out of the inn that night with a new expedition in mind and a smile on his face.
AKA the merman!AU nobody asked for, wherein Bill is a siren, everybody else is a pirate and Dipper is somehow (maybe) magical.

Bill gazed over the headstone that sat in the ground. ‘Dipper Pines 1926-1990 ‘Amatur et numquam dediscor,' "He is loved and never forgotten," sprawled out in writing across it. The headstone was made of a gorgeous smoky marble, vibrant golds etched into it, along with trees carved in and growing up the stone.
Bill had designed it himself.

Summary
Plagued with horrid nightmares, visions and more, Dipper Pines spent most of his childhood being ruthlessly haunted by a cruel demon by the name of Bill Cipher. Of course, no one was ever willing to hear him out, and nobody believed him. Known as the school nut as a result, the other boys didn't take kindly to him and half of that childhood was spent hiding bruises and cuts from scuffles he lost from his worrisome sister.
Eight years later, the year is 1951. Dipper is 25 and hasn't seen the demon since high school. Having gotten some sort of a grip on his psychosis, he's now a published author of a supernatural encyclopedia and is found escaping his old home on a train to find inspiration for his new book idea.
Fate works in mysterious ways, and inspiration seems to find him first.
