He decides to depart for Fontaine and break him out of prison, even if Tartaglia doesn't remember him anymore after his existence was erased from Teyvat. All things considered, Tartaglia is the only human that can make Scaramouche's puppet heart beat. He is worth it.

Summary
Liyue's appeal was in its contracts. You could walk in with any amount of baggage on your back and so long as you had a dedication to upholding your end of deals, you could be whatever and whoever you wanted. The novelty of that freedom was not lost on Scaramouche, and though Mondstadt was much more conventionally 'free', there were things he knew he owed to Liyue's brand of 'freedom'.
He should have expected the things that Liyue would teach him about himself, but Tartaglia was beginning to be more of a wrench than he'd thought.
