He resisted the temptation to check his phone and instead glanced at the sides for the umpteenth time. It wasn’t anything fancy, one of those ill-fated, forcibly hetero January pilots, but it was work and God knew that’s what he needed right now. A few minutes passed, and he was pretty solidly memorized, even confident – that is, until he heard the soft click of the door and a familiar smooth voice came floating across the room at him.
"Super warm room, but I don't think you have to worry very much about booking this, buddy."
(In which Mac and Dennis keep getting sent on the same auditions, and Mac is really pissed about it, until he's not.)

Angie really just wants to get her laundry done; she has a shift at the campus cafe starting in twenty minutes and some asshole had spilled gravy all over her shirt the day before, but not without apologizing promptly (to her chest, not her face.) But no, the good machine is always taken, and she would have gotten here earlier, but she spent the night on her neighbor’s floor because Howard had brought a girl back, and she’s not gonna sleep through that. Ew.
But all that’s forgotten when the prettiest girl she’s ever seen shoulders past her as the laundry machine dings.

Steve didn’t think that a high school transfer club project would lead him to this. Bucky’s calling him twitterpated and it’s not true, it’s just that Peggy has really great handwriting, is exceedingly beautiful -- judging by the school portrait she attached in her first letter -- and seems like a very nice girl, and he’d like to meet her (if only she didn’t live in England,) and tell her that everything she said in her letters was wonderful and that he likes her very much.
Alright, fine. He’s a little twitterpated.

Helena’s tried to experience a loss of power in the bedroom before, told men to spank her or choke her or spit on her. It never worked. There were no stakes to it, she was always still the one calling the shots in the end. That must be why it excites her to have this “innie” so strangely in control of her body.
