"What do I do?” Steve appealed into the phone. “I’m freaking out.”
There was silence on the other end of the line. It lasted so long that Steve pulled the receiver away from his ear and frowned at it. Pay phones were old. Maybe this one wasn’t working despite the obvious dial tone when he picked up.
“Ok,” a stranger’s voice said over the phone. “First acknowledge the fact that you dialed the wrong number, but be quick about it because my cab is a few blocks away from my own plans and I’m about to drop some truth bombs on you.”

“Because the defrosted pillar of truth, justice, and the American way woke up and went into rut,” Clint recites dully, incredulity at this turn of events having faded into resignation out of sheer self-preservation. “It’s his first rut in, what, seventy years? And suppressants aren’t working. It might kill him.”
Bucky grimaces. He doesn’t know what it says about his life that it has landed him ass-up, face-down in these circumstances.
He’s pretty sure he’s imagining the warmth spreading through his veins. Heat inducers need time to work. But between this and the suppressant-neutralizers, he doesn’t even want to think of what his chemical makeup looks like right now.
Will Rogers be able to smell it on him? Would it even matter? Captain America or not, the guy’s an alpha in a long-delayed rut. All he’ll care about is having a tight hole around his knot, and Bucky’s got that dubious honor.

“...You’re cold?” Geralt asked, a surprising amount of concern coloring his tone.
Jaskier blinked, “Well… yeah. I mean, I’m sort of sitting here, mostly naked－,”
Geralt squeezed him a wee bit tighter, “I noticed.” He purred, each word accompanied by a distinctive puff of hot air against Jaskier’s chilled skin, sending shivers of pleasure down the smaller man’s spine.
“－and there is actual frost on the ground.” He paused, seemingly just now registering the thick, pulsing warmth nuzzled up into the small of his back. “Really, Geralt? I didn’t know that you found being bested by nature to be so… exhilarating.” It was meant as a tease, to try and ruffle the Witcher’s feathers, and it worked… sort of.
“I can’t help it.” Geralt purred, one of his overly large paws snaking down to dip into the front of Jaskier’s smalls. He could smell the slick as it began to ooze from the omega’s fluttering hole, “You smell absolutely divine.”

Jaskier accompanies Geralt on a monster-hunting trip into some scary woods, but is left behind before Geralt can fight the monster, as the witcher is afraid his dearest friend could be hurt in the attack.
Unbeknownst to them both however, more than one monster lurks in these particular woods, and Jaskier is left in the perfect spot to run into a lusty tree-sprite – a grim and dirty one that wants to have its wicked way with poor Jaskier in its subterranean lair!
But when that nasty tree-sprite has the power to imbed pleasurable hallucinations into the minds of its helpless victims, is Jaskier even complaining? And however is Geralt going to feel, when he finds the friend he secretly loves getting off with a tree??

Summary
Jaskier inhales at the touch - not quite a gasp, but not quite a normal breath either, and then he lays his palm flat against Geralt’s chest. The tips of his fingers tease at the edge of the witcher’s medallion, and for a moment Geralt’s head is filled with the image of Jaskier’s fingers curling around the pendant and tugging, just hard enough to pull him forward those last few inches. He pictures their mouths slotting together, imagines slipping his tongue past his lips and tasting the sounds the bard makes before they even leave his mouth, swallowing them down before anyone else has the pleasure of hearing them.
