Peter looked down in a shock, lenses growing comically wide when he saw his erection pressed firmly against Wade’s leather-clad thigh.

When Peter and Wade are on a stealth mission to bust drug traffickers, they find themselves crammed in a barrel to avoid being caught. The only problem is that Wade's phone alarm is going off in his pocket and the vibrations are bringing Peter closer and closer to an orgasm he's desperately trying to stave off. Not for long, if I’m lucky, Robert thought bitterly. The ache that had been building in his gut all day felt like a ravenous, gnawing hole now. It twisted something inside of him, made him feel sick and rotten and wrong. And a thousand miles away from the sweet-faced, wetsuit-wearing hero currently giving up his Saturday night to help keep a bunch of villains safe at a crappy metal night.

Scratch that. He knew having superpowers in general, whether you used them for good or for bad, was stressful.
Especially if your powers were anything more than a minor annoyance to the general population on a daily basis. (Which, leaking everywhere was.)

Summary
In his sleep, Robert appears- for once in his life- like he’s not stressed to hell and back. The frown lines on his forehead are smooth and lax, and even the exhausted bruises that paint the skin below his eyes a sickly purple seem diminished in the soothing glow of Chad’s bedside lamp. He’s still scruffy and unfortunately clothed in that hideous uniform, but all that does is add to the reality of Robert being here, safe and comfortable in Chad’s bed.
Without even realizing he’s doing it, Chad reaches out and smooths his hand over the messy puff of Robert’s hair. The other man hums quietly and turns towards the warmth of his palm, and Chad flinches back like he’s somehow, impossibly, been burned. Robert’s face creases into that oh-so familiar frown as if Chad’s touch was wanted in the first place, and a spike of longing spears through him.
