“Pro Hero Shouto is in critical condition after a villain raid gone awry in downtown,” a reporter drones over ‘Breaking News’ text, as if he’s not ripping Kirishima’s very being apart at each syllable, hooking into his chest and yanking hard, “The hospital has yet to release any information on his current status, but it is confirmed that Heroes Ground Zero and Deku are uninjured and managed to apprehend the villain after Shouto…”
Legs locked suddenly into a dead sprint, he hardly thinks at all.

"Ah, young love. Enjoy the honeymoon phase while it lasts!" A deep voice calls out.
The warm face at his neck moves back, and Eijriou struggles to keep him upright as those legs have yet to move from around him. The cute stranger's voice is tight with what sounds like mild frustration.
"Actually, we've been together for years!"
Oh, that's the game plan? Cool, Eijirou rocks at improv.
Eijirou goes to the airport single and depressed, but leaves happy and engaged to a stranger?

Maybe it was pathetic of HiMERU to run off after begging everyone around him to not leave but here he is, crying in his dorm room after pushing everyone away in fear of what they may find out while he's in this pathetic state. He's not sure what he's crying about anymore: if it's Kaname's death, the unraveling of his persona, or the sickeningly sweet warmth he found when the rest of Crazy:B held him close. He begged them to not let go and they listened, yet he pushed them away regardless. Perhaps he's becoming more like Kaname than he thought.

Summary
This man is a stranger to Keito. His skin is translucent, a sickly blue under the fluorescent lights, and blooming with bruises. His hands tremble where they lie in his lap, stemming from bony wrists that Keito's sure he could snap without even trying. His shirt, clearly meant to be worn by a child, hangs off him almost mockingly. He wears his hair, cut jaggedly, in a short ponytail at his nape, framing hollowed cheeks and colorless lips. His eyes, Keito notices when they catch his gaze and arrest him, are sunken and empty and lifeless and beautiful. This man, this dying, broken man, is the most beautiful stranger Keito's ever seen.
Keito had thought, when he was younger, that he and Eichi would have all their issues settled by this time in their lives. It'd never occurred to him that he'd leave Eichi's side, only to return and find a broken copy in his place.
