Even when the Unspeakables found a spell in some ancient text that tied soulmates together with a red cord and showed them a moment of their "true love". It was a hoax, he was sure of it. But no one else agreed, willing to upend their lives just because a stupid spell said so. Ron wouldn't have minded so much if it hadn't wrecked his.

When the search for Voldemort restarted around Harry’s 11th birthday and threatening letters began to be delivered to him, the boy had to suffer through being the psychopath’s target again and again. Until finally Tom Riddle is captured and put on trial, sentenced to spend the rest of his days on Death Row.
But this story is not about that. This story is about Harry Potter, well-adjusted young adult after years of therapy, finding a new coffee shop, and developing a hard and fast crush on the owner.
