His chest was hollow and pieces fell out of him each and every day that passed. He doesn’t know what happened to the pieces, or if the hollow part of him will ever feel whole again.

“If you’re not going to read,” Hyunjin said, his tone deeper than it had been a moment ago. It made Jeongin freeze, a small spark of expectancy making itself known.
Jeongin knew what that tone meant, and, as always, so did his body.
A shiver traveled up his spine and his heart skipped a beat. Jeongin closed his eyes and rolled his head back against the wall again, willing himself to calm down. Hyunjin had so much power over him and he knew that all too well.
