5/1 - I lost my journal with all of my handwritten drafts, outlines, and other important info for this story. After I'm done crying, I'll post. This story is on hiatus until I recover my files and get organized. 🙏🏻
Lucanis and Rook are at an impasse that seems too difficult to confront. Having developed a mutual attraction only for Rook to condemn Treviso to the blighted dragon, tension was extremely high. While both struggle with their feelings of spite, regret, and guilt, the horrors of the Cauldron require the team’s immediate attention. Things are further complicated when Rook recruits a childhood friend to assist, and like all good stories, it will lead them all on a course no one could’ve dreamed of.
Do things seem asynchronous? Lucanis can be romanced even if you save Minrathous? I, like many Dragon Age fans, found Dragon Age: The Veilguard to be mediocre. This sentiment is especially evident in the characters. Their motivations, personality, dialogue, and development left much to be desired. So, I’m giving it a shot at re-writing the stories events with a few twists along the way. Hope you enjoy it, would love feedback!

Summary
This is a project to create a conlang that will expand upon and deepen the Elvhen language that was created for the Bioware game series, Dragon Age. Elvhen, as it is used in the games, is a cipher, not a language. My goal is to create a complete conlang, or at least a simulated conlang, that other fans can use. The goal is to create a constructed language that is to Dragon Age what Sindarin and Quenya are to Lord of the Rings.
I do want to stress that this is a constructed language based upon the limited Elvhen we had encountered within the games. I am not using magical linguistic ninjitsu to "Figure out," the Elvhen language. In terms of the "official," language, consider this linguistic fan-fiction.

"So is this Calivan contract one of those 'I have to do it myself' things?" she asked casually.
Electricity crackled around them, close enough the hair on Lucanis's arms and neck lifted. Lightning struck the ground, hitting the guards and Calivan in turn. First one round, then another, and a third. The smell of burnt flesh reached his nose and electricity danced on the puddles of standing water that dotted the floor.
Spite appeared in his mirror form on the other side of her. He leaned forward, head tilted as if studying her. "Smells of lavender and lightning," he purred. "Storm beneath the skin." He leaned closer, as if sniffing her. "I LIKE her."
Lucanis tried to ignore him, telling himself it was probably better the demon liked her than the alternative.

Summary
“We can’t” she whispers in between kisses. Again and again their lips press to each other, desperate and greedy, the wet sounds almost obscene in between the pants of breath. Rook inhales deeply, her first gasp of air that he would let her have before his mouth trails to her neck and she lets her breath out in a keening whine that only makes Lucanis clutch at her harder.
This was insanity. This was wrong for so many reasons. It only made them want it more.

Rook is arranged to be married to Illario, but her attraction to Lucanis can't be ignored. Drama, yearning and forbidden smut ensue!

Summary

Sebastian has never really felt understood by anyone but the old farmer who passed away years ago and his granddaughter that he briefly met. After years of all-nighters, frugal spending, and endless jobs, he's finally close to his savings goal and making plans to move away from this miserable town. His only issue is the old farmer's granddaughter, who's moved back into town, and he can't seem to take his eyes off of her.
