Summary
"Firstly, she didn't state that we both needed consorts," Wise started, waving his hand around as he found some twine in his drawers. "In fact, she said 'consort'. So if we take that literally, which we will, that means this decree is only applicable for one potential partner." He hummed when he found what he needed, and he started rolling up his letter. "Secondly, she never specified who's hand."
Lighter listened intently, but after Wise finished speaking, it only took a few seconds for realisation to set in. When it did, it was quickly followed by utter disbelief.
”You didn’t…”
Wise gazed at him from under his silvery lashes, and despite his smile, his eyes remained firm and steadfast, like the high and low tides of the ocean; coming and going as nature intended.
"No wonder Her Majesty was so angry with you." Lighter shook his head, brows pinched in equal parts exasperation and frustration. "You're planning on staking your own hand in marriage."
---
Due to circumstances, Wise has been forced to offer his hand in marriage in a tournament. Lighter is vehemently against this arrangement; more so than he really should. And he doesn't know why.

Summary
“You want to save everyone,” Yosano summarizes, “but you don’t know if you have the power.”
Atsushi nods.
“And you’ve decided to ask me about it?” She laughs softly. “The person whose sole purpose it is to save people? I think you’ve made up your mind already, Atsushi-kun.” With a grin she leans forward and rests her chin into her palm. “Your kindness is both your strength and your burden, I see."*

Summary
To think that there’s a gifted in this world who can transport others to a ‘Hell.’ Not even a particularly hellish hell. For all Akutagawa had experienced in his life, this is obnoxiously tame.
Pleasant, even, if he was to ignore the centaurs hunting him for sport and the fact that he’s kneeling in an open grave.
Still - if Akutagawa was given such an ability, he’d have no shortage of significantly more creative punishments for creatures as loathsome as himself.
Akutagawa goes to Hell. Atsushi follows. Neither return the same.

Summary
He had been here before.
The moment thrummed with the inevitable, the bite of the crisp autumn air, the call of seabirds in the distance. Akutagawa stared through the crush of people, his heartbeat quickening, confused and concerned at his own inability to control his body’s reaction. Déjà vu was nothing but a fault in the brain, a broken neural pathway remapped across an existing memory…and yet.
He had been here before.

"A violent desire snaps through Wise. Something about snacks and people sitting on countertops comes to mind."
Though the siblings have been planning to go to a cabin in the woods (not murderous) for some time, this plan is waylaid when Belle declares she's going for a weekend spa package with the girls. Surely, Wise can go to the cottage with someone else? Perhaps, Belle suggests innocently, with his crush?
Perhaps, Wise recommends, she'd like to be put six feet under?
Nevertheless, Wise finds himself with one Asaba Harumasa, the man he has a small, inconsequential crush on. Alone in the middle of nowhere with no reception; what could possibly go wrong?
Singing, dancing, and midnight swims; there is much to learn about the one you love. Sometimes, those things are in plain sight.Series
