Summary
Charlie Swan is drowning, one bottle at a time. His daughter’s choice to marry a vampire shattered whatever fragile peace he had left, and the more he learns about the creatures lurking in the shadows, the less his old life makes sense. But Carlisle Cullen refuses to stay at a polite distance. The perfect doctor, the flawless vampire—he appears at the edges of Charlie’s unraveling world like a demon ready to make his life even more miserable. Their encounters grow more heated, with Charlie having to realise that he wants more than his ex-wife and a white picket fence.

Summary
Damian Al-Ghul Wayne had everything at one point. He was a prince. Ibn al Xu'ffasch. Son of the bat. Heir to the demon.
He had never asked to be ripped away from everything that he knew, from the warmth of his home, his culture, his palace in Nanda Parbat. He had never asked to be shipped to a gloomy, grey city.
Even when his father kept taking in orphans and ruining his plans for inheritance, Damian stood steadfast.
But then his father died, leaving behind his newest orphan.
A tiny acrobat with watery blue eyes and black curls, who spoke no English. Damian knew the boy never asked to be ripped away from everything that he knew, from the warmth of his home, his culture, his circus troupe.
Damian knew he needed to be there for him.

Summary
There was a moment between birth and ascending where a newborn god was vulnerable, the touch of pure immortality still grabbing a hold of them. Immortality, after all, was not a thing to be created or destroyed. It was the concept of unchanging permanence, and one could not be born or dying permanently, forever.
And those who are not gods cannot see a god’s true form without irreparable harm.
The only thing Apollo ever saw was his sister’s true form.
