Summary
Winter is celebrated a little differently around Teyvat. For the people of Sumeru, they celebrate a holiday known as Zedanaruz—an Old Sumerian word meaning Day of Winter Knowledge.
Sethos is staying in the city, both to familiarise himself with the city’s happenings and as a means to go on vacation. To celebrate the winter season, he’s decided to hold a Zedanaruz party. Kaveh and Alhaitham are invited, along with friends both familiar and new.
Almost everyone has noticed how much closer Kaveh and Alhaitham have become, with certain bets coming into fruition. As the party progresses, they decide to give the two a little nudge.

The first thing that comes to Kaveh's mind is to look through a certain box that contained both his mother's past belongings and some of his own from when they had been living together, hoping to find some sort of message of inspiration. However, one of the first few items that stood out to them both were a pair of gem-adorned nipple clamps, which Kaveh not so discretely dismissed.
In the midst of his efforts to find inspiration, Kaveh uncovers a particular object in the box that caused a certain feeling of distress to return. Seeing that nothing else would be able to pull Kaveh away from his intense feelings, Aether decides to pull Kaveh in for a kiss instead.
