“Reyna’s mother is Bellona,” Nico says, shaking out his hands in a failed attempt to get feeling back into them. “She has no real Greek equivalent. Maybe Enyo, but even then, not really. She’s a goddess of war and conquest.”
“That doesn’t really answer my question, though,” Will points out.
“It answered one of them,” Nico huffs. “I was getting to it. But you’re right. No telepathy. For that you’d have to look at Athena, Hera or Hypnos. Or Koios, but he’s a titan. No, essentially I can sense souls in the Overworld, but not where they are. So I just tugged at hers a little. Hazel might be able to do it, too.”
“Fascinating,” Will says. “Hazel is your sister, right?”
Nico nods. “She’s one of the Seven. And dating the other praetor of Camp Jupiter.”
“You’ll have plenty of time to tell me about it. You’re stuck here for three days after all,” Will says, holding the door to the infirmary open for him. “Welcome to my domain, Death Prince.”

He flushes, and he’s not wearing any makeup today, which means that his blush is on full display for both of his partners to see.
“Cute,” Corbeau says, and he’s peering at Paxton over his glasses, smile sharp and predatory. “Philippe is right. Getting to take you apart would be an honour. You beneath us— or perhaps on top of us? —letting us touch you just right. We’d be as gentle or as rough as you’d like, naturally.”

"I wouldn't call that fine, eh, Philippe?"
"You couldn't walk yourself," Philippe says from his spot in the nearest armchair. "I'd argue that isn't fine, Paxton."
