Summary
Ever since the Mark of Mastery exam, everyone’s been treating Sora like shit and he’s tired of it. He’s been trying to just keep his mouth shut and deal with the hurtful and condescending comments since he knows they all got bigger fish to fry at the moment. But then everything comes to a boiling point during the latest meeting with Master Yen Sid and in the aftermath it becomes too much. With the threat of rage form making an appearance, he falls back on the only coping mechanism he knows can make it go away. It’s obviously not the best way to go about it, but it works and that’s what matters most. Until he gets caught in the act by his best friend.

If you like this kind of story you’re probably desperate enough to check every new one out, if you don’t, I know there is nothing at all I can say to convince you to read this one, and if you don’t know what a reaction fic is and simply start this one out of curiosity , I might be the one to drag you into this rabbit hole.
If that’s the case, I am deeply sorry, and good luck. It’s pretty hard to leave this trope behind once you’re into it.

He had heard of Montauk before, of course; Percy had told him about the yearly trips he took there one night when they were both patrolling the Argo. Even so, the word sounded foreign to him. Although the dust from the war had cleared, that did not mean Jason had time for leisure.
"Montauk," Percy repeated. He crossed his arms, though his friendly smile still danced across his lips. "For a week. With me, my mom, Paul, and Estelle. We could swim in the ocean, and get ice cream on the boardwalk, and watch movies late at night. The cabin we got this year is nicer than the usual one—no broken AC or spiders in the sheets, promise. It'll be fun!"
"No spiders in the sheets?" Jason asked, his lip curling in his own wry smile. "Then what's the point in going?"

“You’re a runaway, then.” Luke said.
He’s not wrong. It just wasn’t his family he was running away from.

Basically, I wanted a BAMF Nico di Angelo time travel with actual real meaningful changes to the timeline and major ripple effects! Self-indulgent for sure, since I want to redeem all my favourite characters! What if Nico went back in time to the lotus casino, and snuck out just a bit earlier?

Legend has always had a complicated relationship with sleep.
Being afraid of sleep came after Koholint.
Legend can’t quite describe it, the way his body instantly rejects all thoughts of sleep. He knows, logically, that he needs it. But the moment he lays his head down to rest, his heart starts racing and his hands start getting clammy and it starts getting hard to breathe. The thought of slipping into another Dream again is too horrible to even imagine. The thought of waking up from one is even worse.
So he handles it. If handling it means that he just doesn’t sleep until he passes out.----
Legend is somniphobic (he has a phobia of sleep). The Chain helps.
