Summary
I had an idea for a story moldering in my head in 2022 about a man fleeing a falling empire, carrying documents bound for a foreign destination. Along the way he'd meet a girl who would turn his life upside down, and then turn his prostate inside out.
Since that idea started percolating through I have been very invested in seeing this story to light, and thusfar this was the most successful attempt. A first draft of the first part of a much larger narrative; placed here as a self-contained short story. Hope y'all enjoy.

Summary
I had a thought about writing music in the tradition of Will Wood or Bo Burnham and this was my attempt, so I guess this is kind of a fanwork of them. Also feels a bit punkish to me, although perhaps not punk enough to call it such. Original lyrics without an accompaniment, I guess you could call it poetry but I did have a cadence that I was thinking about when writing. if I ever get back into music again, I might try to do a recording. If anybody does end up singing it, lmk because it would be cool to see how other people think it would be sung.

In February of 2023, I decided that I would write an adventure/mystery story in the vein of scooby doo to the length of a novel. The story never materialized fully, existing as only bits and pieces with an outline, but uncovering the draft for the first chapter I found it more than decent enough to be posted "as is." Perhaps I will return to it one day, but my spirit of adventure lies elsewhere for now.
A story that would have had a bit of everything; but which, as is, only has romance.
