Noel sighs. He sits on rumpled bed sheets, on the side of the bed where mischa had been laying just hours before - not an uncommon occurrence, after everything. They’d all had to deal with the trauma of dying, and they clung to each other for support, so some increased closeness was to be expected. Maybe it was a bit codependent, if Noel was being honest with himself (which he usually was, he thought), but it hurt whenever Mischa left. It hurt when any of them left, but Mischa hurt the worst, like the beginning of a spiral.
The window on this side of the bed was open, facing the black night sky. It looked like a black hole, taunting him. He was alone.
Or; Noel is in a really bad place. Mischa comes to the rescue.
