Summary
When the pair reached Mike's room, they were giggling like little kids. Will is thrown down onto Mike's bed, the other boy following suit a few seconds later. Mike turns onto his side so that he's facing Will. Will is staring at the ceiling, swimming in his own thoughts. He's dragged out by a hand on his chin. The hand forces his head to turn to face Mike, so that they are now looking at each other.

“What!” It was Will’s turn to blush harder, giving him a glare reserved for Mike Wheeler and Mike Wheeler only. “No. God. That was ages ago. I’ve been past that for a long time.”
Mike motioned like he’d made his point. “See? So? It wouldn’t be weird.”
So, Mike likes guys. Fine, Will can live with that. Water dripped from Will's hair, ran down his jaw, caught on his lips.
Mike stared at it.
Stared like he'd forgotten where he was.
Then, slowly he lifted a towel and pressed it gently to Will's mouth, wiping the water away. His hand didn't even shake. He was steady.
Will's breath stuttered. Tingles tremored all the way up his spine.
He didn't move. He couldn't. He was too aware of Mike's hand, of the way his eyes kept dropping back to his lips.
That look again.
The one Will had seen a dozen times now and never understood.
