Time has not been kind to BigB and luck has surely not been on his side. For him, traveling and basically stranding himself on Kovarian V had been a last resort. This race wouldn’t award him with a lot of money, but it would be enough to at least get off this planet, somewhere where there are upheld laws (BigB has seen two people with antimatter pistols), and decent mechanics. Ren would be good right now, BigB muses. The thought stings a bit too much for it to be anything more than fleeting.
However, the pain only grows when he goes to enter his ship at the start of the race track, because that blur of pink crosses his vision once again. Except, this time, it's closer. This time, he can see who it is.
