“Oh, that’s brutal,” Changbin cackles. “Well, will you?”
“No,” Minho hisses. “It was one hundred percent mediocre because of him, and we will one hundred percent not be trying again tomorrow.”

“Han Jisung-ssi?” Minho greets him, polite and so pretty, and damn, even his voice is beautiful.
“Yeah, hey, nice to meet you,” Jisung says as he shoots up from his seat, his knee bumping into the table in the process and making the cup on it shake in response. Jisung winces as his cheeks heat up in embarrassment, and it really doesn’t help that Minho huffs a small laugh while he watches the whole thing unfold.
Great.
Not even a minute in and he’s already made a fool of himself.
“No need to be nervous, I won’t bite,” Minho mutters with a mischievous glint in his eyes, “Unless you ask me to.”
Jisung snorts, thankful for the alpha’s attempt to calm his nerves. He decides to play along, “Is that part of the contract or do I need to pay extra?”
Minho tilts his head as his lips stretch into a grin, “For a cute guy like you, it’s free of charge.”
Or, in which Jisung hires a fake boyfriend who might end up not being so fake after all.

He was close to splitting his own lip, but Minho brushed his thumb across it before Jisung could. Minho caressed his cheek, and Jisung couldn't resist nuzzling into his palm. “I lo—like you, hyung. Really, really like you.”
“I really, really like you,” Minho smiled, then kissed him.

It’s been a long time since Minho has met anyone new. Since he’s had to get to know someone. He doesn’t remember how to make small talk—but, honestly, considering Jisung was teasing him about getting stroked off by Seungmin earlier, haven’t they blown right past small talk? Minho opens his mouth to ask Jisung something, but before whatever inane question he still hasn’t decided on can start to form, Jisung beats him to it: “If you could go anywhere tonight, where would you go?”
“I thought you were just taking me to your place.”
“I’m a total fucking stranger, man. I could be taking you anywhere. To kill you.”
“You’re not a stranger,” Minho points out placidly, shrugging. “I know your middle name.”

It takes so long for Minho to pick up that Jisung almost wonders if he’ll pick up at all. He’s vaguely aware that he’s probably asleep, that Jisung is probably annoying him, but the part of him that usually cares about things like that has been effectively silenced.
“Um… Jisung?” Minho’s voice finally crackles through the phone, low with sleep.
“Would you kiss me if I asked you to?” Jisung asks casually.
There’s a pause on the other line. Then - “What?”
Jisung giggles drunkenly, and repeats himself. “I asked if you would kiss me.”

Big teeth. Sharp eyes. Jisung had walked into that practice room and almost ran straight back out, only kept in place by Chan’s firm arms and broad chest.
Twitching ears. Swaying tail. Yellow eyes that pinned him in place, squeezing a series of embarrassing chirps and squeaks from Jisung’s chest. Chan was a puppy--big teeth, sharp eyes, but if you scratched him behind the ears he’d pant happily and roll over to show his belly. Lee Minho was a real predator. Lee Minho was no pet.
Lee Minho was a panther. That kind of predator hybrid was almost unheard of, and most certainly that kind of predator hybrid didn’t become a backup dancer for BTS on their world tour. That kind of predator hybrid lived wild, hunted the forest, naked and feral. Apex predator hybrids, like Lee Minho, panther, did not get kept, did not get had. They held themselves, they owned themselves.

Summary
At this point in his life, Jisung has resigned himself to the fact that Minho would never feel the same way about him. He has gotten used to reminding himself that Minho’s attentive listening is just a byproduct of him being a great friend, that his lingering stares have no deeper meaning.
But that doesn't mean he has given up hope. He was going to, really, but then Changbin roped Jisung and Chan into enrolling in a pole dancing class with him, and when Jisung was reluctant, he argued that Minho would never be able to resist his “slutty little waist shaking to the beat” (Changbin’s words, not Jisung’s).
Or, Jisung takes a pole dancing class and it leads to everything he's ever wanted.

Summary
The buzzing increases in volume and there’s another moan. It makes Minho’s blood immediately run south and causes his brain to malfunction. He tries to sort out his thoughts amidst the chaos caused by emotion overriding rational thought. He should get up and leave. He should force motion into his legs and give Jisung privacy. It’s simply not right to eavesdrop, even if he never meant to hear what he’s hearing now.
