‘Yeah, being so online and all, plus the pining for someone who will never like them back,’ she added quickly.
‘That makes sense—wait, what was that last part?’
‘Oh nothing haha. I can send you the video before I post it to make sure you’re good with everything being said.’
Cody scratched his head, still a bit thrown off by what she said before. ‘Umm, yeah, that’s good. The interview was good.’
‘Great!’ Sierra smiled wide.’"

Heather scowled. Ew, those nerds? No thanks. But Heather desperately needed that extra credit…and she was getting bored of the same old drama in her popular friend group, so maybe a change of company could be interesting.
Heather reluctantly agreed, and luckily for her, there was an after school meeting that same day. Great.

Though Heather may feel like strangers online are her only friends, she realizes that a certain nerd is sill willing to be friends with her.
