Summary
George could see Lockwood behind a desk surrounded by books, giving orders to a team of agents, answering calls from elder statesmen with a polished smile. It was where he should be, not here in a rapidly cooling kitchen surrounded by what George imagined were empty cupboards. It was all too easy to get caught up in the fantasy. The idea made him feel special too.

The terror clawing up inside of him makes him feel insane. There’s nothing left to do, to say. The thought doesn’t bring him any comfort.

Summary
At Jacobs, they call it the hangover. Classes didn’t teach about it so they had to make their own language. Obviously kids with the Touch as their primary get it the worst, but the rest of them aren’t immune. One particularly rough case, one too many moments of overexertion, and you’d be taking some of the ghost back home with you.
