Techno is wrestling with something deep inside him. Phil keeps silent, waiting for him to win, to look back with a new light.
“I didn’t…”
Phil recognizes the half-started sentence from before. He tilts his head to see into Techno’s face.
“I didn’t want you to see me. Here.” Techno’s free hand jerks up to knot its fingers in his bloodstained shirt. “Like…” His words trail off, hidden in an exhale. With sisyphean effort, he drags his gaze from the wood shavings to Phil’s face.
“...Like this.” Phil whispers for him.

Hypixel is a land of fighters and nobility—entertainment and wealth. The kingdom collects its warriors for the rings through any means, and doesn't draw the line at stealing people away from their homes.
Technoblade is a champion, best of Hypixel's best, kidnapped and wrought into a menacing, bloody machine... and his family wants him back.

A long-awaited meet up for the SBI! It is a well-earned break in busy schedules to finally meet some of your closest friends and spend some face to face time with actual human beings. At least, this is the way Techno is looking at it. He doesn't realise the ulterior motive Phil, Wilbur and Tommy have for insisting on Techno flying all the way to England to meet them.
OR
Techno has been dealing with some mental health problems he thought were well resolved. This causes him to unintentionally distance himself from his closest online friends. Wilbur, Phil and Tommy decide they've had enough of their fruitless worrying and convince Techno to fly out to England.

She had raised the boy since he was young, visiting once or twice a week to the fiery pits of the hellish terrain, to make sure he hadn’t lost himself in the way of the piglin. He had many times, today though, the longing for his humanity filled his head with memories from before the deal. The deal that made him immortal. Immortality was an odd concept, a concept that humans would die for, a concept that the man did die for.
“Precisely. I’ve lived for nearly two and a half thousand years. It’s time for me to see Apollo once more.”
“You’re giving up immortality to see your dog?”
“Yes. that is correct.”
TL;DR -
Technoblade is tired of being immortal but Kristin has a job for him first.

Summary
When they found him he was covered in blood.
Soaked from head to toe, the violent Red contrasted harshly with his big doe eyes that were filled with tears. The boy would never forget the pungent stench of iron filling his nose and mouth. Nor the pink water going down the drain of the shower, slowly getting clearer until the only trace of Red left was under his fingernails. But even that faded.
Maybe it was because the Red was all he’d ever known, or because he’d just gone mad, but he never could escape it.
EDIT: I kinda want to delete this after Alex' passing, since it's such a sad stupid story, but I'm keeping it up in his honor. Keep the triggerwarnings in mind when you read this. Rest In Peace Technoblade.
