So why have Rex and Shulk – their adventuring days behind them, and attentions turned to raising their families and building their communities – found themselves dumped unceremoniously into this confusing, broken, patchwork world of child soldiers and annihilation events? And how are they supposed to fix it when they don’t understand what went wrong?
A story that fills in the gaps in Future Redeemed with found family, found purpose and little wins plugging the leaks in the sea of losses.

After Bahamut’s night of wrath, Terence regroups the surviving Dragoons to offer what aid they can to Twinside’s survivors, and to try to find some trace of their disappeared Prince. Dion is eventually found, but Terence’s reunion with him proves all too brief. Sent away to take Kihel and himself to safety, he travels north to his family’s estate. But he cannot live with himself for failing to protect his Prince when he needed him most.

Summary
The Orbital Ring has enjoyed a period of relative peace as the anniversary of the Aegis test approaches. However, when the series of minor hardware malfunctions that's been plaguing Rhadamanthus for the past few months begins impacting system performance, Aoidos launches an investigation, fearing a security breach that could threaten the Trinity Processor, or worse, the Conduit, potentially leaving them open to any number of threats waiting in the wings.
Meanwhile, Shulk is a student in Elysium, balancing schoolwork with building his own computer. His primary concerns are his grades and not getting caught with an unauthorized machine. That, and the fact that his school-issued calculator seems to be self-aware.
Or, Xenoblade Chronicles 1-3 mashup all human no nopon AU set on Rhadamanthus to Beatles music. Please note that, due to the way these games are connected in canon, several characters have had their relationships & ages adjusted for the sake of the plot.
