Summary
Soap was a man of many things, but most importantly, he was the best thing that happened to Ghost. And Ghost was the worst thing to happen to Soap. Their relationship did not start off like a love story, no it couldn't. It would make no sense for it to start off that way.
Ghost was a ruined man with heartbreak in his eyes and touch, and Soap was a breath of fresh air that Ghost could die in. The relationship wasn't great, that was clear to everyone around them.
It was built on co-dependency and a bond that was full of trauma and hurt. Soap tried to see the best out of everything around him because of it, but Ghost saw the worst in everything. So clearly, They clashed. The break up was no surprise to anyone. They just weren't good for each other. There was nothing they could do, or that they wanted to do.. Soap and Ghost only enabled the worst in each other. So of course, they mutually let go. As they say: to love is to let go.
Now Soap is mourning the loss of his relationship while healing, and finally he meets Ghost once again. Will they try again now that they’ve grown or only enable the worst in each other once again?Series
