Pat hums and shuffles further off the sofa, pressing Pran down into the carpet. He’s heavy, in a way that Pran definitely is only thinking about logistically and not in any way that he might want to explore later. He puts down his pencil and circles his fingers around Pat’s wrist. “I see how it is,” he continues. “You let me win and suddenly this is restaurant Parakul? What’s next, I expand into a hotel chain? Free accommodation every night?”
Pat’s breath spreads warm in a laugh against his cheek. “Mhm. And bubble baths. And scented candles. And personal massages—”
“Personal massages, huh?”

“I’m teaching a ballet class.” He wiggles his hands in the air unenthusiastically. “Surprise.”
“You’re teaching—” Jisung pinches the bridge of his nose. Of course.
Of course the instructor of the ballet class he just signed his daughter up for is the amazing one night stand who won't leave his mind. The guy who works at a fucking sex shop and had Jisung tied up in his bed over the weekend.
Fucking hell.

Peter sees it from across the block — a large billboard featuring an advertisement for the Fantastic Four’s new brand of sunscreen (courtesy of Reed), accompanied by the words TAN, DON’T BURN and the faintest suggestion of Johnny’s lean silhouette. Then he swings closer and the picture gets clearer: Johnny’s wearing nothing but a pair of blue swim trunks (bad); a flicker of flames is accentuating the hard lines of his abs (bad, bad); and to top it all off, there’s a dog — is that Princess? — tugging his swim trunks down and exposing the tan line right above the curve of his ass (bad, bad, bad).
“You’ve got to be kidding me,” Peter says, right before his spider-sense tingles and he swings face-first into a brick wall.

Once he's finished he steps away and smiles, looking straight into Clark's eyes. Clark can feel the heat rising on his face and he has to look away. There’s absolutely no way he finds Bruce’s fashion talk sexy. No way.

Bruce hummed in mock understanding. “Of course. Strictly business.” His gaze flickered over Clark, the corner of his mouth twitching. “And here I thought you came all this way just to see me.”
Clark and Bruce have a routine when their paths cross at social events—get a quote, catch up, flirt until Clark gets flustered. But Clark’s getting tired of too much flirting and not enough kissing.

It wasn’t just the fact that it took more than two hours for his brain to catch up with what he had done—it was where it happened. Specifically, in the middle of an important Wayne Enterprises meeting with potential investors. He had trailed off mid-sentence while reviewing projections, blinking as the memory finally replayed in full in his mind.
He had kissed Clark.
Or, Bruce's brain takes a little longer to kick in the morning when he's doing the rounds and saying goodbye to everyone before he leaves for work.
