Summary
Lord Palpatine grants Commander Fox a boon for his heroics in saving Coruscant and the other cities of the mountain. There are very few ways for Fox to acceptably use it; it's an empty promise and a high honour.
Yet there are precedents, if one cares - or is dragged into the archives by a well-meaning brother - to research them. So it is that Fox finds himself offering the lady Chuchi a marriage of convenience. She has become a political liability to Lord Palpatine's court, and is to be sent away to a genteel and underground exile.
He is, of course, acting on motives of purest chivalry. The lady Chuchi is not.

Summary
Two days ago, the Honourable Riyo Chuchi returned to Coruscant. She'd spent the last part of the Senate recess back on her home planet of Pantora, shoring up the tenuous agreements with the Talz. Commander Fox missed her. He'd known he would, but only when Stone had thrown the docking bay's logs at him and told him to stop being a miserable defective did he realise how much. Now that she's back - but Riyo's already made plans. Plans with hats.
