“Your backside, you mean?” Slade had snarked, enjoying the flush that took over the kid’s face. Slade was smart enough to read between the lines. The only way that one could go undercover in a BDSM club was either as an employee or a customer and Jason definitely wasn’t going in as a customer if he was asking Slade to be his backup.

Neither of them are okay but with each other? They could be, one day. Jovana's looking forward to that day. Chuck does not want to punch his lover’s dead brother. “Yes!” He tries to rein in his temper. He really does. But the words are spilling out at the Marshal before he can stop them. “Did you ever stop and think about why I’m here and not the other Becket?”

Less than a year after Operation Pitfall, Raleigh and Chuck end up seven years in the past. It's not going particularly well.
