The cook and swordsman went crashing to the ground, gravity clasping its long, heavy fingers around them once more.
But what was more important—the reason that they wouldn’t dare to move an inch—was that the impossibly soft, warm, slightly wet feeling on their mouths was a bit… distracting.

It was REALLY close.
That one day Sanji almost kissed Zoro, because of Foxy and his pathetic Devil Fruit power. It slowed time down, and had him lurching back towards Zoro—brace yourself—mouth-first. And what's worse: in slow motion.
Thankfully, Sanji stopped himself just in time. But in another universe... he couldn't.
It was an almost-kiss turned real. AKA, Sanji's worst nightmare come true.

Sanji sat back, a puff of smoke leaving his mouth as he set down his cigarette, offended. “Kissing a cigarette? These lips, they’re for Nami-swan and Robin-chan.”
And Sanji saw Zoro let go of his bottle and place his hand over Sanji’s lap, close to Sanji’s left hand. He had watched Zoro’s face come dangerously close to his, and Sanji could feel his breath. The cook could also feel his own breath, which wasn’t faring too well with the way it hitched.
See, it was easy for him to observe, but processing it was quite difficult.
