“I think there’s a new Robin out there,” she said, quieter now. “The problem is, the old Robin is too scared to meet her.”
Mr. Hauser was quiet for a moment.
Robin immediately regretted saying any of that. Great. Fantastic. Now her favorite teacher thought she had finally lost whatever remained of her mind. Maybe he was trying to figure out whether this conversation required a guidance counselor or somebody with one of those nice white jackets that tied in the back.
Instead, Mr. Hauser leaned back slightly. “Maybe you should.”
“Maybe I should what?” Robin frowned.
“Meet her.”
(In 1983, Robin got bitten by one very weird spider roughly when Will Byers disappeared. Things have been changing since then. And, truth be told, she has no idea how to accept that new person she is becoming. If there is even place for both of them in this world. Thankfully, her favourite English teacher seems to know the answer.)

Truth to be told Ryder had no idea when exactly she let go of the horse’s rein, but 5 months after the defeat of the Archon, the Tempest’s crew was slowly hitting the all time low when it came to teamwork. It was hard to keep the spirits going, so everyday fights between crew members was becoming a routine. But when their beloved Pathfinder ends up in a life threatening situation and forces all of them to work together to save her, truths start coming out; emotions run high and decisions must be made.
