She settles on sliding her arm across the back of the sofa behind James, fingers itching to reach for his neck with a far less murderous intent than she’s used to.
James levitates their empty mugs back to the table. “Will you let me apologise now?”
Lily gently whacks the back of his head. “No.”

James falls asleep in the common room the night after the full moon. The only trouble is he was supposed to be helping Lily with her potions essay, and he's still a little scared of her despite their growing closeness. Luckily for him, she's far more fond of him than she lets on.
