Summary
How are you meant to live when the odds have been against you from the start?
Darren Lynch, born to a teenage girl and an abusive father, feels that he started it all. He trapped his mother, angered his father, and was his sibling's first protector.
Abused in every way for eighteen years, Darren is haunted by his past.
Always accused of being too soft, too gentle, too weak, he's spent his entire life trying to change, to bend to the wills of those around him.
When it gets to be too much, he runs. And Darren learns the hard way that his problems will follow him everywhere.
But it's not too late for him to live the life he's always thought of was out of reach. -
