Summary
The Erebonian Arc was fantastic but to me it seemed to have a lot of missed potential. This frustration, combined with my absolute adoration of this franchise made me want to write some of these characters my own way. Thus, here's my newest project, Divergent Kiseki!

What if Lucy was never offloaded off of the Moby Dick as it crashed and burned down to the Yokohama river? Will Atsushi find her? Will he be able to save her? What exactly would unfold as they face death together? Lucy had waited for hours and hours, still locked in a cell, knowing that escaping alone was akin to asking for death. On the cold steel ground she would lie and yearn...just as he would restlessly run across layer upon layer of this labyrinth of a ship, hoping for a sign of her.

"Shut the fuck up," Mushitarou mutters. Any bit of distraction could make him lose sight of Yokomizo. "He's right there."
"...Who?"
Mushitarou's head snaps over to Ango's, a snarl on the tip of his tongue. However, his aggression fizzles out the moment he makes eye contact with the other man, who is watching him through the lenses of his glasses, lips pursed in confusion and concern.
For just a split second, Mushitarou sees Yokomizo, in the drooping, downturned eyes paired with strong eye bags from sleepless nights. Ango's eyes reflect the lamp's weak lighting, and the shade it produces is one Mushitarou hasn't seen in a while but would recognise anywhere.
A soft gold.
