Summary
Set in 2009, this is a pre-series AU where Matt Murdock isn’t just blind—he’s deaf, too. During the summer after his second year at Columbia Law, Matt lands a prestigious clerkship at the Southern District of New York. He’s got the tie, the migraine, and the sensory overload to prove it. Navigating the courthouse is one thing—navigating his own body is another. Stick thought he was too compromised to train. Foggy thinks he’s doing just fine.

Summary

It's the first week of law school, and Foggy Nelson—over-caffeinated extrovert with a savior complex—meets Matt Murdock—quiet transfer student with a white cane, ironed shirts, and secrets.

Summary
Foggy holds Matt’s folded up white cane on his lap, trying his best to not let it slip from his grasp as his wheelchair gently vibrates him, rolling along the bumpy ground. “Jesus, you’d think they’d make the route from the hospital at least a little ADA compliant.”
“Don’t worry, I’ve already drafted my lawsuit.” Matt says, his tone more mundane than either of them feel. “When you roll in and I play up the blind act, how could we lose?”
Matt is standing behind him, holding the handles of Foggy’s wheelchair, pushing him slowly along the uneven sidewalk. Foggy looks up and… wow. Even from below, Matt is still stupidly charming.
His hair is a beautiful red, his glasses catching the light of the midday sun. His lips are curled up into the same sad smile he’s been wearing for months. Ever since Foggy’s diagnosis, Matt has been taking time off from Daredevil, barely leaving his side for more than a few hours at a time. Even their law office has been put on hold; Nelson and Murdock is shuttered until further notice. Shuttered until ‘Foggy gets better,’ as Matt says, but they both know the truth.
___________A vignette story, dealing with the aftermath of Foggy's terminal cancer diagnosis.

Summary
They always called it ‘falling’, like it was inevitable, like his insides would swoop and the ground would give beneath his feet. Falling, because maybe it would feel a little like flying too, in a sudden, exhilarating, terrifying way. Falling and not know if he would ever land, or who he’d be when he would.
Foggy had never understood why until right now.
