Standing at the vampires’ front door with a bouquet of flowers in his hand, Ranboo supposed he should have been slightly more nervous. He had only learned that vampires existed a few days ago, after all. But these ones, at least, were his friends—friends who left sticky notes to remind him of the spare key under the welcome mat that said “Doorbell Broken: Just Yell Ding Dong Really Loudly”, who called him at all hours of the night to settle silly arguments and to offer sillier advice, and who invited him over to play video games and laugh at stupid movies until their stomachs hurt. He just couldn’t find it in himself to be all that terrified, even if the whole thing was a little strange. Okay, very strange.
