Surprisingly good soulmates fic. Follows the red-string theory about past lives and how you will always meet someone you knew in a past life—Which, surprisingly, I think is actually accurate for the time-period and setting of the show. If I remember correctly, that belief originated in early Japan. Neat stuff.
..though, be warned, there's a *lot* of smut. I straight(gay) up said "What in the sinners—?" at one point to give you a clue 😭

Chills. Deadass. That last chapter was EVERYTHING.
Beautifully done and written, the progression felt so natural and so *real*. Not to mention they also managed to also stay true to the source material and navigate the complexities of such situations and identity.
Truly one of the best Arranged Marriage fics I've read in a long fucking time, it's up there with *OEATS*.. like, THAT good.
Read this gng, 10/10.

Loved this one sm, but forgot to bookmark it since offline reader 😭
Wrote "giggling, kicking my feet"/"im swooning" at least 20 times from the looks of it sooo.. def without a doubt.
I mean there was FLOWER LANGUAGE soooooooo...
Toby was such a fun addition and gen loved how his needs did make a vital point of the story (VET!ANDREWWWWW). Other characters being completely done with the two of them was also peak.. and then the running club with Chariot and Croix.. called that. (Loved that Akko caught on too)
LOTTE x BARB PART!! AAAAAND HANNAH x AMANDA.. gen all my fav ships.
This was gen rly good and I rly enjoyed it, though I do wish the pediatric storyline with Dia was explored a bit further but I get they were caught up with the play and everything.. also that dramatic ass car ride so she won't miss the final number?? The *carnations* call back???? SWOONING.
ATTENTTION: Author is the same as the "Botany" fic.. everything makes sense now, my goat 😭🙏
ALSO EDIT: Werewolf!Akko mentioned through Dia liking the werewolf storyline from Nightfall. HEHE💕

—Mmm. Never seen anyone actually explore this part, I like it.
She's allowed to still be angry but nonetheless trust Namaari. Those two things can coexist. Even if Raya feels too overwhelmed to process it.
I like how this author dabbled into that without over-doing it or over-explaining—impressive to fit it into a one-shot.
"The great Sisudatu believed that I could do what she did, and I fucking shot her. Some dragon nerd I am."

Really good, I thoroughly enjoyed this. Definitely a rec and might be one of my favs for this fandom.
Amazing metaphors and even better quotes that I saved during my offline read. Genuinely got gobsmacked by some of the BARS laid down in this fic. Didn't expect it whatsoever but it was so well written and the flow didn't falter once the entire way through so I literally couldn't stop reading.
Also really funny at times and the banter was so well done between everything, the use of different cultures and their languages was expertly done and I loved seeing the author actually try pretty hard to pay attention to their customs and such. I loved all the little details that made up each land, their ideals. The world building was simply phenomenal and that's something I adore in fics and this did it perfectly. Scratched that cultural itch I always have and think is what's missing in most long-fics.
..Anyway, I believe I've rambled enough. The fic was genuinely perfect for what I itched for and I fully recommend it.
Solid 8.5 on the scale, a lighter read when u don't want an angst driven long-fic but you still want a well done fic. Wonderfully done.

Maddy has a polka-dot robe on now, clutching the two sides closed to keep out the chilly night air.
Rue has stepped onto Maddy’s lawn. In front of Maddy’s window. Where Maddy can definitely see her.
Stupid.
“Uh—” she starts, scrambling, “Fuck, I didn't—I mean, it wasn't—”
Rue’s hands move in useless little gestures, like that might somehow explain things. Maddy just watches her, arms crossed, her mouth shaped suspiciously like a smile. She cuts Rue off before she can dig herself any deeper.
“Rue.”
“Yeah?”
“Do you need a place to crash tonight?”
When Rue accidentally ends up at Maddy’s house, comfort shows up wearing someone else’s perfume, and Rue pretends that doesn’t mean anything.
