Summary
No big deal: Daisy Kenobi and her boyfriend Matt are meeting each other’s families for the first time this Christmas.
Except for her sisters and his brothers and all of their secrets, it’s not really for the first time.Rey Kenobi is desperately trying to hide her current secret relationship with his brother, Kylo, so she doesn’t ruin the holiday for her sister.
Kira Kenobi just wants to prevent anyone from noticing she sort of used to date Ben, his other brother, despite his increasingly convincing attempts to get back together right under their families’ noses.
Han and Leia Organa-Solo are frankly horrified at the prospect of splitting up the sisters for Christmas when the Kenobi Girls’ grandfather is an old family friend; so all three sisters end up invited for Christmas at their farm.
Which makes just about everyone’s plans for making this a drama-free holiday impossible.Series

Alternatively: yet another fic inspired by the wonderful @galacticidiots, who came up with this gem of a prompt: "AU where flowers bloom on your skin when you fall for someone. The more you love them, the more they spread. Rey was 16 when she met Ben Solo. At 21, she struggles to hide them. At 25, she sees him without a shirt on. His body is a garden and every petal is for her."

Bazine snorts at Rose, her drumming abandoned for now. Rey does hope this isn’t a common habit for a roommate.
“In order to issue commands, he’d have to talk. At all.”
Bazine emphasizes this by making a cutting motion with her hand across her throat.

Rey spared Han some of the dignity of his own longing assessment of the space that clearly hadn’t been looked at in a long time. An empty room in a quiet house. As gruff as he was, handing it off to some runaway nobody just because she was helping him rebuild a car was one of the kindest gestures she’d ever experienced, and had a hidden weight that she knew needed a respectful amount of privacy. Mysteries were often about unresolved sadness, and were usually only solved by the people who didn’t feel it.
Rey is offered a place to stay: a spare bedroom once belonging to the mysterious Ben Solo. What does she do when she wakes up with him wanting his bed back?
