Falling back against the bed with Mobius following down to kiss him feels like a dream. Their tongues against each other’s feel like a dream. Mobius’ clever hands feel like a dream.
“How long has it been?” Mobius rasps out.
“Mm—too long,” he won’t last, not at all. The very sensation of the room’s chill hitting his skin has him squirming, let alone the contrast of Mobius’ solid, warm touch. “I can’t remember the last time I—…”
“I got you,” Mobius whispers.

Loki raises his eyebrows. “Oh, for the, uh,” he sets his hands out in a wild gesture that he hopes somehow makes the mark, because he doesn’t know what an ATV even is—
“Oh, no, no,” Mobius says. He’s smiling, now, for some reason Loki can’t quite understand, eyes sparkling in the sun, soft color in his cheeks. “I mean—sorry, I haven’t done this in a while. That was a bad line.”

Mobius shakes his head, mouth curling around a wry smile.
“Yeah. Not buying it.”
“I’ll give you better words, then,” Loki says simply, like his suggestion is a very good one and he can’t fathom why Mobius would ever refuse him.
Ducking his head a fraction, Mobius reins in his amusement.
“How about this?” hands folded on the table, he watches Loki intently. “If you tell me why, I’ll answer.”
A soured expression clouds Loki’s face, lips pinched tight. He jumps off the table.
“Nice try. But I’m not in the mood to play patient and therapist.”
Leaning back in his seat, Mobius twiddles with his pen merrily.
“Ah, well. It was worth a shot. Maybe next time.”
Oh yeah. Loki is definitely up to something.

What kind of ridiculous man can still crack jokes at a time like this. His complexion is sickly pale, he can hardly keep his eyes open. And then there’s the shirt. Stained crimson.
"I need you to know, this wasn’t your fault.”
Loki almost feels the rivulets of blood dripping from his own fingers. Covering his own hands. It might as well be the case.
