Summary
Working at the Apple Store was mundane for Daeyoung. Most days blurred together with the steady stream of forgotten passwords, cracked screens, device set ups, and dead batteries. He would smile, run some diagnostics, explain the warranty policies for what seemed like the hundredth time, and watch guests leave with either relief or frustration.
Every day had its rhythm, but Daeyoung didn’t mind. He genuinely enjoyed helping people, even if he had to repeat himself. As long as he was able to solve just one person’s problem, then he considered his shift a success. No matter what the day threw at him, he faced it with a bright smile, ready to solve even the most minor of problems.

There’s a man standing outside of Renjun’s apartment with his life packed into a suitcase and several, modestly sized cardboard boxes. His hair is black. His slacks are gray. The dress-shirt rolled up around his forearms, white. He’s got eyes that are big and round and gooey in the way brown sugar boba and half-melted chocolate chips are, even though the rest of his face is pensive. His tongue pokes out of his mouth as he fishes for a set of keys in his front pocket. It’s kind of cute.
Renjun hates that it’s kind of cute. Hates him as a whole, actually. Because in case anyone’s forgotten, this is supposed to be Renjun’s apartment, and Renjun’s apartment alone.
Renjun's old apartment is infamously (and in his opinion, expertly) haunted by none other than himself. Mark Lee decides to move in anyways.

Jungwon is one of the few people who can remember their past lives, and Jongseong has been in too many of his. That doesn't make saying I love you any easier, though. If anything, it only makes it harder.

Jay chokes on his food in cinematic timing. Niki unhelpfully slaps at his back.
His gaze shifted to Heeseung who was still looking at him with an unreadable gaze. There was interest there and something else Jay couldn’t quite put a name to.
Maybe that’s why he clears his throat and casually says “sure,” looking down at his food and shrugging like this wasn’t causing his hair to prematurely grey.
It wasn’t a lie per se, but it wasn’t the whole truth either.
The whole truth was that Jay was completely, irrevocably, and horrendously in love with Heeseung still.

“They’re a package deal,” Yeonjun blurted. “I do the psychic reading and then give advice on the– uh, tax stuff.” Out of the corner of his eye, he could see Taehyun mouthing no at him repeatedly and emphatically.
