Giyu has a pretty normal albeit depressing life. That’s until he gets transported into the video game he’s coding.

What was going on? Had he fallen asleep at his desk again? What was Mitsuri doing there…and what had happened to her hair? It was bright pink with green ends. He knew his friend was eccentric, but how did she even come up with that? And who was that weirdo standing next to her with bright red hair. Where even was he? Was this a dream? If it was what the hell had his brain done to everyone’s hair? Was his own ok?
Straining his head to look at his hair he could see it was his normal colour, but really badly maintained. What had he done. Maybe his hair had been like the others and he had dyed it a million times to preserve his sanity. But why was there such deep lore in this dream?
“Giyu my friend. Are you ok?”, the fire man practically yelled.

Judge Roberta Field eyed the next case on the docket balefully. She’d known it was coming. As soon as she’d seen it appear in her schedule she’d cursed and debated “breaking a leg”, since it had been too late to have another baby as a way out. She’d convinced herself that was too extreme, however, and lulled herself into a false sense of security that she must be misremembering and it wouldn’t be that bad. So she’d decided to keep working and let it happen. And now it was here.
The Bouchard-Lukas divorce.
Again.
It had been three years since the last one, which had to be a new record.

Elias and Peter are divorcing again. In trying to decide the division of their marital property, they need some witnesses to assist their respective cases. This is unfortunate for Jon and Martin, who would really rather be elsewhere.

Her eyelid twitched. ‘I am retiring in three weeks,’ she hissed.

Judge Roberta Field is retiring early. No more long days. No more screaming couples. No more family drama. Just a lovely cottage in Scotland. Life is going swimmingly.
Unfortunately for her, her two least favourite regulars decide to stop by for one last hurrah.
