“Kacchan?” he breathed, panic immediately striking his features, his eyes widening as he shoved the door open further and took a tentative step forward, hands hovering over Katsuki. It took the latter a moment to realize the boy was afraid to touch him—afraid he might injure Katsuki further—and he couldn’t help but let out a breath of laughter.
As if Izuku Midoriya could ever hurt him.
“M’sorry,” he murmured before he could stop himself, his damn filter still gone with his delirium, words slipping out of his mouth like leather boots on blood-slicked stone, his breaths coming out in short puffs, “I didn’t know… where else to go.”
____Katsuki gets severely injured, shows up at Izuku's door, and Izuku has to take care of him.

"Do you have any more injuries you wanna tell me about before I help dig the rest of your helpless ass out?"
Deku took a moment at this, eyebrows pinching in concentration as he either assessed his injuries or just processed Katsuki's request, he didn't know.
"M'back hurts," he mumbled finally, head lolling to the side like it weighed a hundred tons, "s hard t' breathe, m'legs're stuck 'n..."
The unfocused gaze widened for a moment, then fell. The silence that stretched was unsettling, and Katsuki was about to yell at the nerd to hurry up and stop keeping him in suspense when the whisper reached his ears.
"Kacchan, I can't feel m'legs."
Katsuki and Izuku are trapped in an elevator, except it's angsty and under a building. They reminisce while Izuku tries to simultaneously not die of his injuries or of his feelings. Gayness ensues.

Summary

“K… cch…”, Deku tried again, chest spasming. The hand clinging on tightly to Katsuki’s forearm became lax and rolled to the side uselessly as he grew weaker.
Katsuki’s brain was overcome by a whirlpool of feelings, thoughts, and sensorial input. There were people yelling, people shouting, people trying to touch Deku. He shielded the boy’s body with his own out of pure instinct, trying to think, goddamn it, think. He needed to do something.
Deku was dying.
Deku was fucking dying. Because he ate poison that was aimed at Katsuki.Alternatively: Someone tries to poison Katsuki. Izuku ends up eating the food instead.

“Kacchan!” Izuku gasped, fumbling over him, words spilling over Katsuki like sheets of rain—too much and all at once, “What happened? Are you okay?” and as Katsuki felt the inviting tug of sleep pull at him once more, he realized he wasn’t going to get a lot of time to say much of anything to quell Izuku’s panic before settling completely underneath the dark current of unconsciousness.
“Quirk…” he managed, the letters slurring together in his mouth, his heartbeat coming slow and steady in his ears. The rhythm was comforting, like a lullaby softly coaxing him to sleep, and he felt his eyelids drooping again just as he forced out, “M’tired, ‘Zuku.”-
Katsuki gets hit with a sleep quirk that puts him out of commission for a few days. Izuku relives his guilt over being too late to save him. Both of them have to deal with memories from the past.

Summary
Katsuki brushes aside Izuku’s hands and tries not to worry over how they tremor even now at rest. Instead, he attempts to focus on the task at hand (which is difficult enough as it is with the way his knuckles brush Izuku’s bare stomach ever so lightly as he works his way up the shirt), hesitating when he gets to the few before the top.
“You want it buttoned all the way?” Katsuki asks.
Izuku nods. “Yeah, same as always.”
“It looks better with the top ones unbuttoned,” Katsuki challenges.
“I’m not a delinquent, Kacchan,” Izuku counters.
Katsuki squares him with a deadpan stare, a raised eyebrow.
Or: Katsuki knows there's something wrong with Izuku's hands, it's obvious. He just wishes Izuku would trust him enough to tell him. After lots of observation and a mishap with some ice, Izuku is finally forced to accept help.
