Okay so maybe Yamaguchi was right, there was a thing between them, but that still didn’t change the fact that no one had dared to make a move. As of now, the only thing between him and them was purely platonic.
So Tobio really has no idea why he’s being woken up to his ringing phone at two in the morning and a loud “We should go on a road trip,” from Oikawa. Iwaizumi’s grumblings can be heard in the background.
He promptly hangs up.
