“Uh-huh,” Mike says faintly, and he yelps when they narrowly avoid the edge of a shining skyscraper, and his hands clutch onto Spiderman instinctively. “Oh – my fucking God, that –”
Spiderman’s fingers press a little firmly into Mike’s shirt. "Just – hang on!"
"What do you mean just hang – was that a pun," Mike sputters, clutching onto Spiderman for dear life as they swing through the city, and he can hear the superhero laugh through the racing wind in his ears, the rumble of it under Mike’s arm wrapped around his middle.
In a city of superheroes, Mike keeps running into Spiderman, much to his dismay.
On a completely different and unrelated note, Mike also attempts to woo and charm his neighbor into a date.- Language:

Summary
Mike dares Will to play a game of chicken with him.
Will, like most things, goes along with it.
---“Chicken,” he said finally.
Will blinked. “Chicken?” He frowned, trying to picture it. “Isn’t that the one where you get up on someone’s shoulders and try to knock the other person off?” The image flashed so suddenly and absurdly that a laugh almost escaped him. He caught it halfway, feeling stupid.
Mike shook his head quickly. His pale cheeks flushed, covering his freckles in a faint pink like he was embarrassed, or maybe warm. Will told himself it was probably just the basement lighting. Or the heat.
“No,” Mike said. “Like… the other game.” He rubbed his thumb against the edge of the blanket, not looking at Will now. “The one where you dare each other to do stuff. And you have to keep going until someone backs out.” He swallowed. “Chicken.”

Summary
“You kept my painting,” Will says. Sure enough, there’s the heart on Mike’s shield, just as red as the day Will painted it. It was Will’s heart that he painted, maybe. It was also Will’s heart that he pulled out and molded into the lie he thought Mike needed to hear, halfway between Salt Lake City and a secret government bunker in Nevada.
Will’s heart is in his throat now, and in Mike’s hands, and on Mike’s wall, framed and carefully displayed.
They stand there in silence for a minute, Will on one side of the room and Mike on the other and too many years of radio silence in between. The quiet is so heavy it’s like a weight on Will’s chest, crushing him, applying pressure—but to a wound or to a bruise, he doesn’t know.
“Will,” Mike says. “Why are you here?”
(or, will has some realizations and a lot of hard conversations, and not every loss is forever.)

Summary
This is a rewrite of my first fic ever with new scenes and better writing!
Mike Wheeler is having a very bad day. Not for any reason you'd expect, but some random guy is opening an edgy tattoo parlor right next to his small-town flower shop. His girlfriend said it was her brother, and now he's confused about exactly why he keeps thinking about the guy all the time.
Will Byers is opening a tattoo parlor. His first day is giving him some nerves, but not as many as he gets upon meeting a certain someone: his sister's boyfriend. Will thinks he's amazing, but it's practically a crime to be in love with your sibling's boyfriend, so he has to find a way to ignore it.
Jane Hopper can't stand to go on another superhero movie date with Mike Wheeler. She hates superhero movies, but her desire to be a good girlfriend and prove something to herself far outweighs her own interests. And now she has to figure out why Mike has been acting so strange as of late.
This is a flower shop/tattoo parlor AU told from the perspectives of Will, Mike, Jane as all three of them struggle to figure out who they are in a world of unfamiliar feelings and small businesses. Have fun!

Summary
It's been nearly ten years since they saw each other. Ten years since they lived in the same state, much less occupied the same room. Ten years since they were friends; eight and a half since Will stopped referring to Mike as such, much less his best one.
Ten years, and here Mike is, and here Will is, and here’s the guy in the chinos who just bought Will’s first friend, first love, first heartbreak a drink. Here is what the poets call cosmic fucking irony, Will thinks: the setup for the world’s unfunniest a guy walks into a bar joke, and Will’s the punchline. Will’s been punched in the gut.
