This time, however, he’s been asked to come over “as soon as humanly possible” without any other explanation. Something in Ryuji’s chest tightens when he realizes that if this were an actual emergency, Yusuke would have contacted the other Phantom Thieves and their group chat would be blowing up. But no, here Yusuke is, messaging specifically Ryuji.
He heads over without a second thought, hopping out the door while still putting his shoes on.
