When he had found a real home it was constantly being torn apart with either a loved one nearly dying or people leaving him. Even with the regular therapy sessions he was having it was all bound to catch up with him eventually.

    Or

    Buck develops a stutter after all of the emotional trauma he has encountered over the years overwhelms him. His family help him through it and he meets new friends along the way.
