Summary
My magnum opus in the Dragon Age fandom, this series is my own personal fix-it/happy ending for Anders after the events of Kirkwall.
In this worldstate Garrett Hawke rejects Anders after the explosion of the Chantry and sends him out alone into the wilds. There he is found by none other than Zevran Arainai, who gives him advice and support and sends him back to the Warden-Commander, Natya Brosca. The three of them come up with a plan that Anders will go on to build a sanctuary for free mages in the one place the Chantry will never be able to reach them -- Orzammar.
The dwarven kingdom, ruled by King Bhelen Aeducan, is wracked by its own problems -- social unrest, widespread infertility, a failing culture, and an empire overrun by darkspawn. But perhaps the dwarves and the mages can work together to turn both of their problems into one elegant solution.
