What if The Wen clan attacked much MUCH earlier, what if the lan clan of Gusu and the Jiang Clan of Yunmeng were both taken down months apart leaving orphans in their wake. What if said orphans Were the twin jades of Gusu and the Children (both blood and martial) of Jiang Fengmian and Madam Yu. And what if both sets of kids were taken in by gods? Lan Xichen makes a prayer for his brother that leads to them being taken in by the Water Master Shi Wudu who takes pity out of familiar histories while the Yunmeng trio happen upon a humble scrap collector Xie Lian who finds them drifting down river and takes them in knowing fully well what its like to lose your family in war.
(Partly based before the events of TGCF but will end up going in a weird retelling of the story but with teenager versions of the MDZS characters and also some minor plots that tie into the MDZS plot. )(( Slight age changing for reasons :P))Part's 2 and 3 are under major revising so the story is ended here for now.

Gregory House made two promises he has to keep.
First, he promised Remy Hadley that he would kill her. Second, he promised James Wilson that he would stay alive long enough to keep his first promise.
House was meant to die that day that Wilson did. His time was supposed to be up. But he promised Wilson on his deathbed that he would stay alive for however long Thirteen needed, until her Huntington's had taken over her life and she was ready to let it all go. So, he kept his promise, barely. When he eventually arrives at Thirteens door, it has been about two years, and is nothing short of a miracle that he survived that long. He had taken every drug under the sun until an overdose threatened to take away his chance to fulfill his promises, and he decided to get clean (mostly). House has never believed in the afterlife, but as he's slipping away after injecting both him and Thirteen with a lethal dose of drugs, he can't help but hope that he'll get to see Wilson again.

In a world where soulmates can feel each other’s pain, Wilson had always grown up wondering if he really had a soulmate. Sure, he could feel the occasional twinge like that of a bruise or cut without actually seeing one, but he had always chalked those up to random aches and pains that everybody got.
Wilson would keep this mindset until both he and House begin feeling agonizing leg pain, and a realization dawning from it causes Wilson’s entire life and well-being to change forever.

It was too quiet. Too big, with just Abed and Annie to fill the space. He wouldn’t let her touch the little things Troy left behind, scattered on the coffee table and in his room. Abed missed the things that Troy did pack. His clothes, some action figures, his mug--there were only two Troy and Abed in the Morning mugs in the cabinet, now, when there used to be three. It made Abed sad every time he looked.
It reminded him horribly of when his mom left. He remembered the awful silence, the way his dad looked at him across the dinner table. The vacancy. He remembered everything.
