Shane looks back at the ice where other skaters are trickling in, closing off the amount of space afforded to Rozanov. Shane can tell he’s annoyed and he smiles a little. Shane used to feel that way; wanting to stand alone, wanting the ice all to himself.
But Shane was always polite and made room while Rozanov weaves and takes up as much space as he thinks he deserves; not just commanding the ice but also everyone on it.
“You couldn’t pay me enough.”
Retired gold-medalist Shane Hollander is tasked with getting young, Olympic hopeful Ilya Rozanov ready for qualifiers. It would be much easier if would stop flirting with his coach. It would be even easier if his coach didn't like it so much.

Shane was battling for his life against this stupid PDF. Adobe wouldn’t let him copy-paste any of the text into his comments. And just to twist the knife, while he was on one end of the sofa hunched over his Mac trying to concentrate, Ilya was at the other, bare-chested, shaking out peanuts into his hand and blaring 2 Fast 2 Furious with Cyrillic subtitles on Shane’s flatscreen.
Tires screeched. Bullets popped. Shane watched Ilya tilt his head back and drop some peanuts into his mouth. He gave them all of two chews before swallowing. The totally indigestible peanuts travelled down the line of his beautiful speckled throat. The man was begging for chronic reflux.

Hudson snatches Connor's cigarette straight from his fingers. He takes a long drag as he stares at a bewildered Connor, the sound of L.A. traffic down below providing a very appropriately timed siren wail. Wee-woo, Hudson's going to jail.
“Bitch,” Connor says, their soul connection entirely forgotten by now. “You know you could’ve just asked for one.”
Hudson shakes his head. “I didn't want an entire cigarette.”
Connor rolls his eyes. “Sure. Give it back.”
Hudson feels an evil grin forming on his face. “Say give.”

It’s improper, lewd and messy, pressing himself into a man he couldn’t care less about on any other day of the week, but maybe that’s what makes it so addictive. The very fact of it being Seth underneath him is so humiliating on its own that he can almost forget about the skirt and the lacy lingerie and the way whispered words of “good girl” get him harder than anything else ever could.
