Summary
“Why are you telling me this?” Kenma had asked, unsure if it was a breakup, a confession, or something else. It was something else.
Kuroo took a deep breath. He had spent a long time thinking about how to say this, Kenma found out later. “Do you know about polyamory?”
---
With a new relationship dynamic, comes new challenges. More so for Kenma than the other members of his polycule, it seems. But Akaashi shows him that he's not alone, and helps him remember why he agreed to this in the first place. -

Summary
As Bokuto continued talking, something caught Kuroo’s eye, distracting him from the conversation. There was a hickey, right there on Bokuto’s neck. It hadn’t been there yesterday. It was easily visible too – he would have been walking around all day with people seeing it.
“Who gave you that?” Kuroo interrupted, pointing to his neck.
“Huh?” Bokuto lost whatever he was going to say next. “Oh, this? Akaashi gave it to me.” He smiled shyly as he touched the mark on his neck.
“In the library?”
“No, last night!”
“Oh, right,” Kuroo laughed. Of course it was Akaashi. If it wasn’t Kuroo giving him a hickey, and Kenma was very unlikely to, it must be Akaashi. -

Summary
Dark and light. He thought of the Fukurodani team colours; black, white and gold. Bokuto’s black and white hair, his bright, golden eyes. Black knee pads against pale skin.
High and low. Akaashi tossing a volleyball high in the air, Bokuto jumping to reach it, the ball slamming down on the ground. Looking down at the players on the other side of the net as they dive for the ball in vain.
Hot and cold. Bokuto’s mood swings? No, that one doesn’t even really work. Something other than Bokuto or volleyball. A… hot cup of tea on a cold winter morning. Steam fogging up a window.
Hard and soft. A skyscraper cutting into the clouds. Harsh lines, soft curves. Bokuto’s spiky hair, his toned muscles. They look hard, but if he could reach out and touch them, would they be soft?
---
Akaashi is assigned a photography portfolio for his art class. There's only one thing he wants to take photos of – the boy he has a massive crush on. The only question is whether he can pull it off without revealing too much of himself. Or maybe that wouldn't be such a bad thing? -

Summary
They fell into a rhythm, sitting peacefully in the dark with the glow of the fire and the wood gently crackling as the marshmallows roasted.
“I feel like we should tell scary stories or secrets,” Akaashi said.
“Ooh yeah!” Bokuto agreed. “I don't really like scary stories, but I want to hear everyone’s secrets!”Series

Summary
Kuroo had never seen Bokuto act so shy around him before. Did Bokuto like him? Surely not, he knew Kuroo liked Kenma. He definitely seemed to want to kiss him though.
“Just as friends, right?” Kuroo could hardly believe he was considering this. It was probably a terrible idea. But he couldn’t help but feel like it could be fun to kiss Bokuto.
“Yeah, just for science!”
For science. An experiment. Harmless curiosity between friends. Maybe it could work. -

Summary
As the rest of his classes passed by, Kenma kept remembering the letter. It was like it was burning a hole in his bag. Why was he so caught up on this stupid letter? He would have to give it to Kuroo eventually, and then what? Kuroo had been confessed to a handful of times already, but he never dated any of the girls. But what if this time was different and Kenma would be the one to make it happen? The thought made his stomach sink further.

“Yes!” Bokuto exclaimed, “That was awesome!”
He ran over to Akaashi to give him a high-five. “I like you, Akaashi. Will you be my setter?” Bokuto asked with bright eyes and an even brighter smile.
“Uh, sure,” Akaashi said, flustered.

The video went back to a black screen with text. ‘Am I the only one who kinda ships him with the hot chocolate guy? Or the black t-shirt guy, like why did he automatically come into his room? Summary
Of course Kenma liked Kuroo. He was his best friend, the person who knew him the best in the world and the person he was most comfortable with. Kenma knew that wasn’t what he was asking, he was asking about the kind of like from the movies, but Kenma didn’t know how that translated to a real life feeling. He didn’t think he had ever felt that, and wasn’t he supposed to ‘just know’ if he had? He wished Kuroo could read his mind and tell him what he was feeling, he was always so much better at that than he was.
Or: three times Kenma didn't have a crush on anyone, and one time he did.
