James was rushing around the common room trying to get ready for quidditch practice but he just couldn’t find his jumper. Yes, it was basically summer, but you could never be too sure that it wouldn’t be absolutely freezing at 6 in the morning.
“This is just stupid now.” He muttered to himself as he checked the sofa in the common room. He remembered leaving it in there the night before but somehow it had disappeared.

“Hi.” Remus said softly as Sirius wrapped his arms around him. Sirius hummed into Remus’ curls in response, making Remus laugh slightly. They stood like that and swayed for a minute or two before they were interrupted by two rather large men bursting in through the door.
“Loops! Leo said he doesn’t love us any more!” Finn shouted as he threw himself at Remus. Remus tried to hide his laughter but struggled to as Finn wrapped his arms around him and fake sobbed. Logan looked at Sirius, pouting and forcing his bottom lip to shake. Sirius shook his head and opened his arms for Logan to run into him.
“You are both so dramatic. I just said maybe you shouldn’t drink anything more.” Leo leaned against the door frame, throwing his head back in a laugh.
“Same thing!” Finn said into Remus’ shoulder and Logan huffed in response.

“Okay boys, you can come down for dessert in a bit if you’d like. I’ll clean up down here before then.” Euphemia shot a smile at the boys sitting at the table as they ate their dinner. The boys responded with an assortment of ‘thanks Mrs potter!’ and ‘thanks mum!’ as they quickly ran up the stairs to James’ room.
“You know, I’ve always wanted to have more kids.” She winked at her husband before she went to clear the table. Fleamont responded with a choked cough into his water, causing Euphemia to giggle.
